WAGO Kontakttechnik
WAGO Kontakttechnik GmbH & Co. KG employs a workforce of over 5,600 worldwide in the divisions of electrical interconnections and automation, and is among the market leaders in these fields. ASSMANN delivered the tailored office furniture for various room types in the new five-storey office building, completing assembly on time despite the tight schedule.
We place the same demands in our facility management as we do in our products. Therefore, quality and function – especially our particular requirements for cable management – were crucial aspects in the selection of office furniture for our new building. ASSMANN convinced us most in the final selection, and scored additional points with reliable logistics in the faultless delivery and installation.
Objective
The existing premises in Minden had become too cramped due to the positive business development. Besides an ideal working environment for the employees, the move to the new build by the departments of automation development and sales, as well as their departmental and project management groups, created perfect conditions for even closer cooperation between these business units that are so vital to the company's success.
Structural challenge
The entire new build project, from the concept to the move, had to be completed on a schedule of just 16 months. Therefore, strict adherence to the specified roadmap was absolutely imperative for the project to be successful.
