WORK AND SOUL: ASSMANN blends work with wellbeing
From smart furniture to customised office solutions – the family-run company will showcase the future of work at ORGATEC 2024
The demands placed on a working environment have changed considerably, driven in large part by megatrends such as hybrid arrangements and the growing flexibility in working hours. To ensure that employees can unleash their full potential, companies are facing the challenge of making office spaces more flexible, efficient and inviting. ASSMANN Büromöbel GmbH & CO. KG will use the ORGATEC in Cologne from the 22nd to 25th October 2024 to demonstrate how it creates inspirational work environments that foster creativity, strengthen team spirit and sustainably grow the company’s profits. ASSMANN hits the nail on the head with its “WORK AND SOUL” trade fair slogan. Aside from a varied portfolio, the manufacturer of office furniture adopts a holistic approach that includes end-to-end services and furnishing concepts for modern professional environments, in which people enjoy coming to work and feel at ease. “Our vision extends far beyond individual product solutions. We accompany our customers from the first brainchild through the planning phase to the realisation of bespoke office environments which focus on people and their individual needs and requirements. We will showcase the results at the ORGATEC,” explained Managing Director Karla Assmann. “We have picked up on the new festival style of the trade fair and invite you to find inspiration in our open stand concept and its special, feel-good atmosphere. Visitors will be given a live experience of how we put our vision of inspirational room concepts into practice and what it means to combine WORK AND SOUL”.
Office solutions from a single source
ASSMANN will use its trade fair stand (Hall 9 | No. E011 DO18) to highlight its particular specialities as an expert for holistic furnishings in modern working environments. With this clear purpose, the family-owned company is sharpening its focus on providing customers and partners with office solutions from a single source, through which employees can unleash their full potential – whether it is at the office, working from home or in a hybrid arrangement. The portfolio extends from consulting and planning with the full range of ASSMANN 4ROOMS services to digital ASSMANN SMART solutions for flexible work time and space arrangements, through to attractive ASSMANN HOME products for creating a personalised work environment at home.
Sustainability will be another important topic. “For us, sustainability is not just lip service, but an obligation that we successfully fulfil and one that has become an integral part of WORK AND SOUL,” says Karla Assmann. “So we will use this year’s ORGATEC to present our 2023 Sustainability Report, which was prepared and audited according to GRI standards. Stay tuned – there will be plenty to discover at our stand”.
Cubas Flex, Wondawall, Syneo Silence and Cantaris maximise flexibility – preferably in trend colours
ASSMANN naturally supplies the matching furniture for the WORK AND SOUL concept as well. More than ever before, it prioritises furnishing solutions that are built for maximum flexibility. A prime example of this approach is the modular Cubas Flex furniture solution, whose name says it all. The elements – from seats and conference tables to cosy benches or a coffee point – can be adapted to individual requirements without any tools, which opens up revolutionary design options. Adding to this is the Wondawall, a flexible partitioning screen on castors as an innovative solution for interior design and privacy. Available in different variants – whether as a shelf, decorative covered wall or with a fabric cover – it is easily adjustable to accommodate individual requirements. With its optional monitor supports, plant compartments or utensil boxes, it combines excellent functionality with attractive variety for modern working environments. With the Syneo Silence room-in-room solution, ASSMANN is presenting an efficient solution for a temporary and accessible retreat for concentrated work at the office. The new Cantaris family catches the eye with its versatility as well. Engineered specifically for the requirements of modern, agile working environments, the series brings together project furniture such as work and standing tables, bistro tables at standing or sitting height and various functional trolleys, such as material trolleys, whiteboard holders and whiteboard-transport trolleys, as furniture solutions with outstanding ease of use for companies and people who need agile solutions in their projects.
With the new trend colours and soft matte surfaces for fronts, desk tops and especially the Cantaris series, frames and table tops can be given a two-tone look that matches the latest trends and adds the finishing touches to designing an office as a sanctuary of wellbeing. “We firmly believe that a well conceived and inspirational work environment is crucial to the success of the entire company – and not just a welcome addition,” says Assmann.
