The ergonomic bench – perfect for project work
Ergonomics, easy accommodation of fixed and mobile IT equipment, and flexible furniture solutions to meet changing user requirements are without a doubt the primary considerations when designing modern work environments. Designed specifically for use in modern work environments, Assmann Büromöbel is presenting the Canvaro Compact at ORGATEC 2016 – contemporary project workstations and bench solutions with clever detailing for maximum convenience and comfort.
Intelligent design principles make the new Canvaro Compact desks a smart solution for project workstations, even in the basic version. "The height of the individual desks can of course be independently adjusted for optimal ergonomic adaptation of working height to the user's sitting position," says Gerd Lauszus, Head of Product Management at Assmann Büromöbel. There is also optional electric height adjustment for dynamic switching between sitting and standing height. The integrated privacy screen acts as an acoustic shield. Another advantage is the light that can be mounted directly onto the desk frame itself, eliminating the need for a stand. The generous cable duct ensures good organisation and tidiness under the desk. Another optional addition is a desk frame privacy screen, which creates a visually calm appearance in open space environments and can also be used to accommodate additional cables.
Project zones can be flexibly designed based on the number of workbench spaces and their dimensions. Desktop dimensions range from a minimum of 1200 x 800 mm up to a maximum of 2000 x 900 mm for individual workspaces on the bench. The basic version of the Canvaro Compact is configured as a double workstation and can be expanded to accommodate as many workbenches as required. The Canvaro Compact can be retrofitted back into individual workstations thanks to its clever modular design. The easy-to-assemble design also offers many logistic advantages should reorganisation or relocation be necessary.
Assmann Büromöbel can provide planning data on the new Canvaro Compact to its partners right after the trade show, ensuring these can be supplied for ongoing projects.
