ASSMANN Reaches Top Excellence Level in ESG Transparency Award
Family-owned company achieves top rating for pioneering sustainability concepts and transparent reporting
With a remarkable achievement, ASSMANN Büromöbel GmbH & Co. KG takes the next step in its journey toward sustainable corporate development: In the 2025 ESG Transparency Award, the family-owned company from Melle has risen to the highest level of excellence, once again setting a strong example for credible sustainability and transparent, comprehensible communication.
The award is presented by EUPD Research, a leading market research, analysis, and certification institute in the sustainability sector. It honours companies that stand out for exemplary sustainability reporting and a clear focus on environmental, social, and economic responsibility.
“The renewed advancement confirms our approach of thinking about sustainability holistically and continuing to develop it consistently,” says Dr. Julia Koch, Sustainability Manager at ASSMANN. “This recognition again proves that with persistence, we can keep reaching new goals.”
ASSMANN had already been recognized with the ESG Transparency Award in the predicate level in 2024. This year, the company has advanced to the highest award category. In addition, ASSMANN was named a Leading Company, placing it among the best organizations in its sector, size, and region — affirming its pioneering role within a European context.
A key component of ASSMANN’s ESG strategy is the close integration of all business areas and a comprehensive view of the entire supply chain. This is supported by a strong internal sustainability team and external partnerships that provide valuable input. The interplay fosters trust among customers, partners, and employees.
“Being awarded in the excellence level is both a motivation and a mandate to continue optimizing our processes,” says Dr. Julia Koch. “The award is another milestone on our path, but we haven’t reached the goal yet. For us, it still means: #weiter_gehen, #keep_moving.”
