ASSMANN GmbH und Co. KG will attend the ORGATEC 2022 in Cologne to showcase a new sustainable trade fair concept, numerous product innovations and smart office solutions, as well as value-added services for planning and designing contemporary workspaces. Trade visitors will experience the future of work live and up close under the slogan NEW WORK NOW. At the world’s largest trade fair, which will be held from 25 to 29 October, ASSMANN will place a clear focus on the four New Work megatrends of FLEXIBLE, HYBRID, HOME and SMART offices. ASSMAN HOME, an e-commerce platform selling equipment for working from home, will make its first appearance at the trade fair stand. A winner of multiple awards for sustainability, ASSMANN builds almost exclusively on green principles for the design and production of its fair stand in Hall 7.1, including reusable flooring and recyclable materials. All products will be integrated in the company’s showrooms in Germany and elsewhere in Europe once the ORGATEC closes its doors. Plates and glasses will also be eliminated from catering as a means of reducing dish water consumption during the trade fair. What’s more, the entire trade fair team will travel to Cologne by train for the first time instead of individually by car, which will keep the carbon footprint as small as possible.

Besides flexible design concepts and functional furnishing solutions, ASSMANN will use the world’s biggest fair for office equipment to present new and optimised furniture for FLEXIBLE, HYBRID, HOME and SMART office environments – from multifunctional stand-sit tables to flexible lounge solutions, stylish seating and smart cabinet systems.
Maximum flexibility in the use of space
The Syneo mobile booth is an absolute innovation for flexible scenarios. The mobile meeting box with integrated padded seating and table is optionally available with a closed or a stylish slatted roof and is fitted with high-quality sound-absorbing upholstery. It comes with a built-in battery that delivers sufficient power for the dimmable LED lighting. Smartphones and tablets can also be charged using the USB C and USB A ports in the table top. The mobile booth does not require a mains connection for self-sufficient mobility. The casters ensure effortless relocation, regardless of where the system is needed.
In addition to the mobile booth, the Syneo soft lounge has been expanded to include new seating elements and partitions for individual configuration of numerous lounge and communication zones, which creates even more design options.
The Pontis Hypa desk and seminar table is another highlight for use in flexible office settings. The battery-powered sit-stand table combines the advantages of a height-adjustable table with the added option of maximum flexibility. Folding up the writeable, magnetic table top transforms the Hypa into a whiteboard. A bistro table variant is also available. Equipped with casters, the table is easy to move and does not require a mains connection thanks to the battery.
In the area of electro-motorised desk systems, the Tensos has been extended to include a bench solution for group workstations. It will be available with a round or square base and as a single desk with a new A-type skid.
Stylish seating for relaxed communication and ergonomic work
The Streamo office swivel chair will include even more ergonomic functions going forward. With the new synchronous adjustment option, the backrest and resistance can be adjusted individually to the user’s height and weight. The synchronous mechanism corrects incorrect postures, eases strain on the back and provides additional sitting comfort.
A stylish sofa series in Bauhaus style has been added to the Consento soft seating furniture family. Aside from the current fabric and leather surfaces, the new Cucco sofa is also available with a corduroy cover in 9 colours. Yet another novelty is the Tivoli soft seating chair with ergonomically shaped backrest made of PUR foam and a selection of 4 leg models.
The Cremona sofa with partition, the Torino bar stool and the Triest high-back chair are other additions to the Consento product group, along with various Pesaro side tables to match the frames on the Lamezia armchair and the Cucco sofa series.
New surfaces for harmonious colour coding concepts
Another absolute innovation at the trade fair is the new ASSMANN Fabric Line surface, which adds a textile look in four colour décors to the Pontis mobile tambour door unit as well as the Allvia and Cubas storage space system.
Digital smart office solutions
The software-controlled Smart Process cabinet system from the Allvia product family is a stylish eye-catcher and a versatile, clever storage solution in one. It comes with the option of an integrated charging function and mechanical or electronic lock variants. The smart locker can be used as personal storage space or for temporary purposes, to transfer work documents between employees and teams without being dependent on the constraints of time or as an intelligent product dispenser. The cabinet system is accompanied by a wide variety of accessories, including shelves, business card holders, individual numbering or letter slots, and can also be integrated into the Smart Office infrastructure as an intelligent software-controlled locker system.
