Just a few weeks till the new crop of apprentices arrives

Meet & greet for the new apprentices at ASSMANN

The big day is coming: five new apprentices will start their apprenticeship with us in August. Vivian Tilly, Jan-Luca Keller and Hannes Bolte will complete three-year courses in industry management. Dario Salihovic has his foot on the gas as a trainee truck driver – a course that ASSMANN has offered since 2015. Pascal Klimm is looking to become an IT specialist for system integration.

Starting an apprenticeship is a major step forward in the lives of these school-leavers. ASSMANN met the five newbies and their parents in June to give them an impression of what they can expect. The prospective apprentices attended a company presentation over coffee and cakes. It was also a great opportunity to meet all the important people for their training. What’s more, they learned that the first thing they can look forward to is a dinghy trip down the river Hase. Andreas Fipp, Head of Industrial Engineering and Environmental Management, gave the guests a tour of the company to round off the day’s events.

Investing in the future

“Every new apprentice is almost overwhelmed with new impressions on their first day”, says Alexander Neudorf, Head of HR. “We want to alleviate this nervousness a little by letting them see everything and meet the main people beforehand.” ASSMANN organises various activities to get the apprentices off to a good start each year. After all, the company is investing in its own future!
