ORGATEC 2016 revealed how we will work in future

Our working world is changing radically! This is a common statement in connection with Office 4.0, but one that reveals little of what it actually means. So what do the new requirements placed in modern office space entail? How will our working environment change as the future unfolds? ORGATEC – the leading international trade fair for modern working worlds – has provided answers reliably for 63 years.

The expectations at ASSMANN were also high in the run-up to the fair. "We had made big plans," says Kersten Fischhöfer, company officer and head of marketing and sales at ASSMANN. "Our new products reflect the current trends: issues such as project work, flexible working methods, technology integration and workspace organisation will become increasingly significant as the imminent transformation in our working and office worlds progresses." 

ASSMANN's fair stand was deliberately designed as an open and inviting area that arranged the new products clearly and neatly in separate zones. Visitors to the stand took a particular liking to the Solos table programme, which has now been expanded as a complete furnishing system. Canvaro Compact, a contemporary solution for project workspaces and bench solutions, was also extremely popular. Integrating a broad array of technical components to improve workplace organisation, the new Flexster rail presented itself as a well-rounded solution. "The latest ASSMANN products were all received positively by our specialist retail partners," says Kersten Fischhöfer. That almost all of the new items are immediately available for orders and shipping after the trade fair was also extremely popular. "Depending on the individual delivery periods, the furniture will be ready for shipping to customers who order directly from the second week of 2017," Fischhöfer adds.

A consistently positive outcome

ASSMANN can only confirm the good overall response among exhibitors and visitors at ORGATEC 2016. Five successful days full of interesting, promising meetings with architects, senior company executives, journalists and other visitors to the stand gave everyone good reason to feel positive about the year ahead. 

 A particular highlight at the trade fair and a welcome endorsement of the company's work: markt intern [Link 3] ranked ASSMANN third in the 'mi Performance Index', which assesses criteria such as product quality, retailer focus and delivery times. Dirk Assmann, Managing Partner, is deeply appreciative of this distinction: "Again we have received a clear thumbs up from specialist retailers. We consider this endorsement a recognition of how we approach collaboration in a spirit of partnership. It is also a testimony to the high quality standards upheld in our company, as well as to the reliability we adhere to in everyday business and in project work." The strong growth of recent years has demanded a lot of the company. "With this in mind, we welcome the slightly improved rating compared with 2014 all the more."
